New motherboard issues. Code 53

Okay so recently I transferred the components of my Alienware x51 into a new case. I also decided to install a new motherboard. I put everything in the new case and when I power it on nothing appears on the monitor. The monitor goes into power save mode. The code number shown on my motherboard says 53, which according to the manual means the problem is related to my memory. It told me to re install the CPU then clear the CMOS, which I did. The motherboard comes with a clear cmos button which is what I used. I also tried powering up with only one ram stick in but that still does nothing. Does anyone know how I could fix this

Geforce gtx1060
Asrock Z270 Taichi mobo
2 4gb ram sticks

Did you check the motherboard manual to ensure the ram was in the proper slots? It matters
