I have recently replaced an old motherboard to fix a blue screen crash. Now that i have the new motherboard it seems to have fixed the display issue and i am getting some beeps. One long wierd sounding beep (may be the DVD) and 2 regular beeps. I have set up BIOS but i cannot seem to get past windows loop and a PREPARING AUTOMATIC REPAIR loop. I figured it was bad RAM but i have no idea. Any thoughts?

A motherboard replacement requires a re-format and re-install of windows, which explains the automatic repair, but failing to repair.

As for the beep code, 1 long beep followed by 2 short normally signifies a video card error, however, as you can see things on your screen, I would say things are ok there.
