New Motherboard, Light turns on but not powering on.

I have installed a new motherboard and CPU (Asus H81M-PLUS & Intel Pentium G3258) with everything plugged in the light on the m/b turns on but computer won't boot.

since you did not mention it, is your existing memory compatible with the new m/b? If it is, is it properly seated? The 4 pin atx 12v connector with yellow and black wires should be plugged in to the connector near the backside of the hdmi port. Hopefully checking these will solve your problem.
