New motherboard need new system?

Solution

Ideally, yes. Windows should be installed on teh motherboard thta will use it. You can switch afterwards, but there are no guarantees.

You may have to, you may not. Most of the time and with a current versions of windows you'll be ok without reainstalling.
What Windows are you running, btw?
Anyway, only way to know for sure is to try.

Try entering safe mode first. That might fix things.
Ideally, you should install on that MB, not before.
