Hello I am starting this thread to request assistance. So recently My computer froze when I was playing Sims 4. It wasn’t responding what so ever for a solid 2 minutes so I hard reset the PC. When I turned it on the display didn’t work. I reset the CMOS to see if it would fix the issue, it did not. I had a spare graphics card I had for situations like this and it didn’t fix the issue either. So then I bought a new motherboard thinking it would fix the issue. But I still have no resolve
The components are as follows:
Original motherboard: gigabyte Ax370 K7 v2
New motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero ax470
Original graphics card: Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 XTR
Second graphics card: MSI GT 620
Hard drive: Samsung evo M.2 500gb
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z 3200
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2
Case: Corsair 460x Crystal series
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700
Clockspeed and XMP default
To get some of the questions out of the way:
Yes the PSU is enough power for the system
Yes I have used multiple displays and connections to include HDMI, Display ports, and VGA
The whole system powers on and illuminates
The system has been working for almost over 7 months now.
