New motherboard new problems

Ok so i recently switched my motherboard put for a new one, the z270 asrock killer sli, nothing else has changed. So i booted up the system, I didnt go thru any boot options or anything like that, i just booted straight to windows. And so my mobo cant seem to recegnise any devixe thats plugged in to the audio ports, and also the mother board cane with 2 wifi antennas which do not seem to work also. Please help

Which motherboard did you come from?

While it may just 'work' and boot into Windows, you may run into problems with drivers etc, which can be a nightmare to troubleshoot. Based on that, I'd highly suggest a clean install of your OS.


However, as it stands, you'll need to install the appropriate drivers for your new motherboard (audio and Wifi, minimum by the sounds of things).

thanks man, it works so far, i uipgraded from an lga1151 stock mobo, from a prebuilt pc.
