Question New motherboard not giving display

I swapped new mobo to fit my gpu in and its not givig any display. I put ram in both sockets tried everything and still wont work. The motherboards light is on and when i put my old motherboaerd in it works fine

I bought a new motherboard and its not giving display.

WHAT new motherboard, by model?
Old motherboard, by model?
CPU type?
RAM?

We cannot even begin to make an informed suggest by guessing at details that at this point only you are aware of. We cannot be there to see, so tell us.

Specs are: i5 2400 Cpu
Old motherboard: Dell D6H9T(bad)
New motherboard: Intel Dh61cr (still bad)
Ram 2gb X 4(only 2 sockets for new motherboard)

Hmm. I did a bit of digging and the DH61CR can support 2nd or 3rd gen CPU. I attempted to take a look at the BIOS revisions to make sure that if it had been updated to support 3rd if that would make it not work for 2nd, but the Intel support site won't show me that info without being logged in.

Hopefully someone else will post with something helpful. Thanks for listing specs.
