Hi so I'm finally upgrading my gpu from an asus HD6950 to a gtx970 gaming. So next is my motherboard / processor. I currently have the sabertooth p67 and Intel i7k 2600 cpu. What are my best options moving forward for a gaming comp? I heard the asus Maximus motherboards are ok bug I've heard some negative feedback for them.

The only none option for me is its got to be an Intel cpu so it must fit the motherboard. My budget is £200 give or take £50 for motherboard and £350 for processor. My psu is 900w so power isn't an issue!

Thanks in advance !
