new motherboard won't boot to bios

I but in a new motherboard,powersupply,and ram 16gb. Fans come on but it won't boot to the bios. black screen.

pull the gpu see if onboard video comes on. if it does updated the bios and in the bios set primany display from auto to peg/pci if you have a gpu.
