NEW Mouse feels like it's dragging

I've brought a NEW mouse mat/mouse as I don't like my death adder, I went with the g402 Hyperion. At first I used the G402 without a mouse mat on the desk as the mat didn't arrive as quick as the mouse, and once I got the mat it feels like my mouse is dragging/not smooth when trying to move the mouse slow, with precision, this has casused me to derank in CS from MGE - MG1 because I'm loosing games and missing shots when people are still. I used the same mat before, just got a new one.

Could somebody please help me?

Might be a clear film on top of the mouse ski pads, or is your mousepad dirty?

Could the wire be snagging on something?

Are you perhaps still just getting used to the new sensitivity?

The mouse pad's not dirty at all, it's brand new, the wire could be dragging on the mat. It's not the sensitivity, I'm on the same DPI as I used to, just when moving my cross hair to a exact position e.g. someones head, it just doesn't feel smooth.

Inside of the Logitech Gaming software you would have installed, you can change the report rate or polling rate on the mouse, perhaps this setting is too low?

I've got the polling rate set to 1000. That's usually what I play also.
