So I bought a new mouse (https://www.amazon.in/Zebronics-Zeb-Transformer-M-Optical-Gaming-Effect/dp/B0819HZPXL) and my pc was working just fine.
As soon as i plugged the new mouse in, I started to experience wierd crashes and system freezes.
It doesnt make any sense to me, because in my knowledge a mouse shouldn't have anything to do with a PC's performance.
But, I am not an expert and would like if someone would advise me on what to do.

I already did a clean boot, and currently with the old mouse, the PC is working fine. I have not plugged in the new mouse yet, to confirm that it is the problem. I will plug in the new mouse tomorrow, and will let you know whatoccurs next.

In the meantime, please explain to me how such a problem can occur from a mouse.

P.S. I already reseated the RAM and swapped HDDs

Solution
Could just be a bad mouse, it can happen. tried mouse on another PC?
I don't see any mention of drivers so it must use the windows ones - https://zebronics.com/products/zeb-transformer-m
I thought maybe it would have some software to control the colours and DPI, though now i see toggle switch just goes between 4, you can't set your own as such.

Anything you plug into PC can affect its performance. I seen mice stop GPU drivers from working - it happened to me.
ALL USB run by same chips that control GPU and other parts of PC. If its acting up, it can cause other parts to as well.

Now I will just confirm it is the onl reason my pc is lagging by connecting it...
If the pc starts lagging then i know what to replace.
Thanks anyways!

Sometimes mouse lag problems can be related to its frequency. This issue usually affects wireless mice, and if your mouse is lagging, you might be able to solve the problem by adjusting its frequency. To do that, open your mouse configuration software and change its frequency from 500 to 250Hz. :(
Umm its a wired mouse without any software for it...
