Device in question: Anker A7852M 2.4G Wireless Mouse

I am on a relatively new pc build and got a cheap, wired USB mouse with my pc which works totally fine. I decided to buy a better mouse for comfort purposes and got the wireless Anker A7852M mouse. However, when using this mouse the cursor will sometimes work fine, but eventually it will start lagging and does not move smoothly across the screen. I had Anker send me a replacement and am having the same issue. I have tried several different USB ports.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Which USB port is the wireless receiver plugged into on your platform? See if the receiver is plugged as close to the mouse as possible.

Also, we're going to need more information. Please include/list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
OS: include OS version if on Windows 10

Check and see which BIOS version you're currently on for your motherboard. Try and reinstall your chipset drivers in an elevated command, i.e Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Does the issue crop up when using the mouse on a donor system, like a laptop or another desktop?

I have tried all of my available USB ports and am currently in a 3.0 port (mouse is USB 3.0)

Will update this response with BIOS version and chipset update: BIOS version E7B86AMS.M73

after elevated chipset update the issue still persists
