Hello, first time poster here, although I've browsed Tom's for a while.

I'm trying to get a new mini-ITX build going, first time I've attempted one.

I have an MSI b85i, Intel G3258, G Skill Ripjaw (2x2GB) DDR3 1600, ASUS GTX 550 Ti, but I can't get anything to display on either my LCD or TV, using all 5 outputs (Integrated HDMI, DVI, Dedicated VGA, DVI, HDMI).

The MB and CPU are new, but the RAM and Video Card were used in my prior system and I had no issues.

The system seems to boot up fine, lights are on, fans are moving, but no video is being output.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi millerke,

Just to be sure, have you been switching over your graphics cable between the correct ports after the installation?

When trying to use your graphics card the cable from the monitor needs to connect directly into one of the graphics card port on the back. When trying to use the native Intel graphics the video cable needs to be plugged into the port on the main motherboard I/O section.

Hi glamdringfh,

Yes, I switched over the cables when testing between integrated/dedicated.
