New Netgear cm700 modem and Netgear nighthawk router red light at internet

I just switched in my modem today and the router was working with the old modem. The new modem which is the netgear cm700 is working fine. I am using the ethernet port for my computer right now to type this. I plugged in the ethernet cable from the modem to the router and the router is just saying its not connected to the internet...im not sure and also my router is broadcasting the SSIDs fine its just...saying "Internet Not Connect" i used a gigabit ethernet switch too to try to like expand the ports of the modem. I tried connected directly to the modem and to the switch and the router just has that red amber light in the internet section. I reset the router too.

U must hookup in this sequence: cm700 -> WIFI router -> Switch -> ethernet devices.
