I bought a new network card (TP Link TL-WDN4800) and a PCIEx1 riser cable since my GPU coverd the port; and when I started the computer, it didn't show any response on my monitor. I checked everything and nothing was wrong. I unplugged the the network card and tried just the graphics card- I saw a hdmi in the input and gained hope but when I selected the option, it showed the standard "No Signal". Note that my GPU's light let up when it was plugged in. I'm really worried and need help soon. YES I was grounded and here are my specs:

AMD Athlon x4 860k
GeForce gtx 750 ti
500 watt EVGA PSU
1tb HD
Gigabyte F2+ mobo

PLEASE HELP
