Whenever I try to update my Graphics Driver on the website or Geforce experience i later get constant crashes and screen blackouts where it would come up saying that the monitor "Lost Signal". I will admit i am still using a GTX 660 but i really shouldn't be getting this problem

(I have been using a driver since 2015, Driver 350.12. I have tried installing every graphics driver i've been alerted to download)

I have tried a clean install and express install
I have tried going into safe mode but i don't get internet so i can't download it

You could download the driver you require manually from nvidia. Then install it without using the website ,Your display will loose signal temporarily whilst it removes the old one but after it restarts it should be good to go.

I have downloaded it and opened the installer. If i do express install it fails. If i do a custom install it fails. There is a windows update with an nvidia driver from febuary but even trying to install that it fails.

Last night i tried doing it so i did a clean install using the installer you told me to get. It worked but restarted me into safe mode for some reason. Geforce experience opened up and so did the installer to install the driver at the same time, so i closed the installer and installed through geforce experience instead. It said the driver had installed and and this icon appeared in my taskbar saying new hardware was being installed (The same one you'd get if you plugged mouse in). Windows confirmed everything was up to date so i restarted back into normal mode. However i was still using the same driver for some reason so I tried again where both of them now failed and all of a sudden im now using an older driver according to Ge force Experience (347.88).

I just don't understand. Why would Nvidia try to update my graphics card to version 382.05 and then downgrade it instead. And why would windows try to install a driver from february and Geforce tells to update to this one released in May!

Another thing i'd like to add is that is that i couldn't open nvidia control panel and now its been uninstalled from my computer, probably when i was trying to install that driver.
