Hi all,
I've bought and installed a Samsung 980 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe , using this adaptor to install into a spare PCI-E slot on my motherboard

  • Drive is showing in Device Manager
  • Drive is showing in Disk Managment, but showing as Not Initialised
Trying to initialize, either as MBR or GPT, I'm given error "A device which does not exist was specified"

At a bit of loss.

Mobo is B450 Tomahawk Max

If it simply didn't show up anywhere I'd happily put it down to a bad drive or a bad adaptor.

Kind regards,
