New Omega CAT 3.9 based drivers are out.

Well OmegaDrive just put them up.

I'm going to go check them out when I get home (may add to my list if I see and interesting differences)

Are you sure that was the Catalyst 3.9 and not the Catabolist 3.9 drivers.

Actually since the 3.7's i havnt seen any improvments.
IQ is excellent
Speed is excellent
Artifacts/glitches are nonexistant.
New features are cool.

Cant complain really.
ATI drivers are equal or better than the Nvidia drivers of old.

With the Omegas I do like a few of the additions, but I am dissapointed that they removed all the shader features.

I have them on for now and will see how they do overall.

My main question about the regular CAT drivers is what the next number will be. 4.0 or 3.10?

If it's 4.0, should we expect anything neat for this number roll-over?

i guess 3.10 will be the next one.
4 implies a big change, and the 3.8's were 'supposed' to be the big ones.

Im suprised they didnt actually number them according to the month, as they are now comming out 12 times a year.

3.10 sounds stupid because it is the same thing as 3.1. unless you want to upgrade from 3.9 to 3.1, i dont know about that.
