I'm trying to build a computer with mass overclocking

I have read a review on the cpu that it can be overclocked to maximum of 4.0ghz

Please help me with the parts. If they are eligable for mass overclocking.

Maximum bugdet of $700.00 is what i can afford.

Maybe a Cheaper Computer Casehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_case can be better.

Please Help

First of all you didn't do your links right. Also, reaching 4GHz is going to be a little difficult with just air cooling. Now then your CPU is going to have a 200MHz bus quad pumped to 800, so it has a multiplier of 12.5. In order to reach 4GHz your going to need to raise the FSB to about 320, or 1280 in quad pumped Intel terms. That being said your MB can handel a quad pumped FSB of 1333 just fine so the limiting factor on your MB will be how much voltage it will allow you to push to your CPU.

Your RAM should be just fine. You could probably get away even with DDR2 800 RAM if you run it 1:1 with the FSB which would give you a DDR Ram speed of 640, assuming your CPU makes it to 320 FSB anyway. While the Thermal Silver will definitely help you mighnt want to consider an all copper cooler. Such a cooler would be more expensive though. Check out cooler reviews and the overclocking section here to find the best cooler, but if you really wanna break 4GHz I really recommend going with some kind of liquid cooling.

i STRONGLY disagree! you can reach 4Ghz on air with the new 45nm Core 2. its even can reach 4.2Ghz on air as well.

OP: the ACF7P cant reach 4Ghz i can tell you that. get a normal DDR2-800 and OC to 900Mhz(FSB450) and with the CPU using 9x multiplier you will get 4Ghz.so basically what i tell you is:
9x450@4Ghz 1:1 memory@900Mhz@(preferably)2.1V@4-4-4-15.i think most ram can reach this kind of speed in my experience and knowledge.

+1 on the Xigmatek Core Contact Freezer its better then Xigmatek cooler.
