After some faulty items I’ve finally got all my hardware together. I replaced everything except hard drives so nearly a completely new PC.
I have not installed any os and I’m wondering if it’s worth adding a new ssd and or hdd?
My old P.C. had 2 hdds equaling 1.5 tb and I felt that should be an okay amount

I realize you picked the 550W B3... but i'm don't know enough about production runs with PSU's in the same model line. Maybe someone else on the forum can answer that question. I'd would pick a different psu.

With mail in rebate, the Corsair - TXM Gold 550W 80+ Gold Certified...

Every modern pc should have SSD. If you can, then get one. Preferably with capacity at least 240GB. Samsung, Crucial are all good options.

Should I get a new hdd ( is it a risk to use these older hdds?)in addition to an ssd? If so I there any suggested size for hdd based on what my previous usage was vs my new set up?
Hubby does take a bit of space for iracing (tracks seem to take up a lot of space)
Will I need to format new ssd and hdds as well?

"I would pick a different psu."

Ahh darn well . I'm Hoping it's okay... All the items in the parts picker above I've already installed and just deciding on my storage options.. I'm considing of I should just jump completely to ssd entirely.. I backed up my pc of the important thing and recall I barely had used less than half of my storage I had available..my back up was only about 60 GB or so itself.

gotcha... I would not fill SSD to near 100%
Keep your fav games on your SSD and least played games on hdd
You can always uninstall /reinstall games. Pretty fast with SSD.
I don't understand why some gamers want to install most of their game library... anyway good luck
You can also move data to online storage. good luck
