Hi all. I currently have a 980ti reference card. I love this card but i am now looking at wanting max setting 4k gaming close to or over 60fps.
I am currently inbetween just splashing for titan x on august 2nd for pascal one, that or a 2nd 980ti or possibly a 1080 card maybe even sli 1080.
I am currently running i7 5820k
32gb ddr4 ram
750w corsair 80 plus gold
Msi x99 gaming mobo
Ssd and the usuals.

I know stats arent out for titan x yet but id estimate it running 20 to 30 percent faster thsn the 1080. None of the nvidia crud of 50 percent.

Cheers guys

oh my osh i totally forgot that the price of the 1080 is supposed to be 600, with all the prices being shot up because of low stock. i definitely vote for two 1080s that would be sweet as hell. then sell me the 980ti for super cheap lmao

Sli aure does have issues but also if youre going to need the power of two 980ti cards. The game will either have a setup for sli or will have one quickly. But an easier route would definitely get a 1080 if you want to run 4k high easily or a titan x of you want 4k ultra

Cheers buddy. Crysis 3 and witcher 3 are main ones and obv other games later. Wanting as close to 60fps or above on ultra 4k full AA. Ive refused to play them at 20 to 30fps 4k ultra lol.
Almost consjdering 2xgtx108 at the price of the single titan x lol
