New PC acting strange

Hello, these are my specs:

Corsair graphite 780t
EVGA supernova 850 g3
Asus ROG strix z370-e
G.skill tridentZ 16 gb 3000 MHz
Intel I7 8700k
nzxt rl-krx62-02 kraken 280mm
EVGA gtx 1080ti ftw3
HyperX savage SSD

So I built this a few months ago and about a month ago I took a big break from using it for pretty much anything

recently I started using my pc again and its been doing some weird things.

Nearly every time i boot it up My Disk will be at 100% usage. Other times my CPU and RAM will also be like that.

Also, my screen has been flickering. mainly when I'm watching videos but even when typing this it flickers every so often. it's not the while screen, it's usually just a porting of it like the top half or bottom half or a section in the middle.

also sometimes it freezes for like 10 seconds

Otherwise, it's been great, performs well in games.

try using malewarebytes to scan system https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
I would make sure your temps are all good use speedfan or everest
make sure you are on the latest bios for the Asus ROG strix z370-e

Temps are normal. scanned with Malwarebytes and had a few potential threats that i got off my drive and now my PC isnt slow when i launch but there's still screen flickering
