New PC, Anything You Would Change?

Solution
Depends on the intent of your build. If it is purely for gaming, then Intel is still the best gaming chip.
However, if you wanna include other tasks into into functionality, while giving you decent gaming performance as well, then a Ryzen would be better. It will also last you longer.
Its like if the 7700k gives you 135fps for 3yrs, the 1600 when overclocked, will give you 105fps for 5yrs. Beyond 60fps or thereabout, the difference is not even visible to the naked eye unless you put a counter on the screen.
If you wanna go Ryzen, this should be optimum...

That build is great. However, with all that money to spend, I'd switch out your txm psu, and use a fully modular psu. Fully modular psu's make your builds a lot cleaner, as you don't need to use all the cables and you have full freedom with all your cables and placement. If you want to stay with corsair for that, an rm750x would be good:

Other than that, that's a nice build.

Thank you for the answers and the quick replies. I do have a secondary question, which is if the Ryzen 1700x would be better than the current intel processor for longevity?

They perform pretty much the same, however you will have the full, proper 8 cores from the 1700x which will benefit in rendering tasks. As for longevity, there won't be too much difference either way.
