New PC blue screened, seeking help understanding Event Viewer logs

Solution
system Thread exception not handled m - its possibly a driver error. Most BSOD are though.

Is this a custom built PC or Brand name? If custom, what are the specs? If brand name, what make/model?

Do you have an Ipod attached?

"The description for Event ID 0 from source iPod Service cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

also, have a look in c:/windows/minidump now as according to event viewer there should be a mimidump already - C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\051218-7343-01.dmp
Can you follow option one on the following link - here
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)

event viewer isn't the ideal place to look for bsod causes, Have you looked in the reliability history (search cortana) and seen if it shows any errors? I just found one on my PC looking there (was not expecting to)

MERGED QUESTION
Question from aceofrogues : "Help understanding mimidump aka why the crash."

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/ka7U.html

File: 051618-6890-01.dmp (May 16 2018 - 08:53:28)
BugCheck: [SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B)]
Probably caused by: memory_corruption (Process: SearchFilterHo)
Uptime: 0 Day(s), 8 Hour(s), 20 Min(s), and 36 Sec(s)

The overclocking driver "RTCore64.sys" was found on your system. Remove the software (MSI Afterburner) which installs this file while we are trying to fix your BSOD problems. Remove all overclocks. Sometimes there will be multiple copies of this file, be sure to remove all of the corresponding software.

There is a BIOS update for your system. You have version 0601 and the latest version is 0901. Note: Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

I can't help you with this. Wait for additional replies. Good luck.

Do you have Asus AI Suite or Asus GPU Tweak 2 installed? My guess is its AI Suite as running GPU Tweak 2 and MSI Afterburner on the same GPU is just asking for trouble,

Having said that, it would be unusual for either to be cause of Searchfilterhost to crash. I haven't seen it crash before, its not normal. I did see in event viewer at same time as last error that the Ipod service was not working right, did you update its drivers? I assume you use Itunes?

have a look in device manager and see if any devices showing with errors next to them
