I just built my new pc, and I am having serious issues. It crashes and reboots when I do just about anything. It usually crashes when I run a Malwarebytes scan and sometimes when I download or install a program such as spotify. Sometimes it even crashes on the desktop for no reason. I downloaded steam and tried to play just cause 2, because I figured it's an old game that isn't very hard to run. That crashes every time on the title screen. I thought it was a virus, cause I accidentally downloaded a 3rd party google chrome substitute, thinking it was chrome, and the crashes started after I did that. It was called Vosteran, and I used Malwarebytes to remove it, but the crashes still happen. I also did a system restore, but it didn't help. I think it's an issue with the mobo, cause it seems to crash less when I use it without downloading any drivers. Whenever I use it in Safe mode with networking it doesn't crash, at least so far (I'm using safe mode right now). I already had to RMA my psu, cause it had a faulty capacitor which blew up. I guess that might have damaged the mobo. Does anyone know what the issue might be here? And is there any way I can find out for sure if it is a faulty mobo? Cause I really don't feel like having to RMA that too if I don't have to.
My specs are:
AMD fx 8350
Sapphire Tri-x r9 290
Seagate Barracuda 1 Tb 7200rpm HDD
Asus m5a78l-m/usb3 mobo
Crucial ballistix sport 2x4 gb sticks
corsair cx 600w psu
