Hello everyone,
I'm building a new pc for my flatmate and I'd like some directions and advice. We live in Austria and use the website "geizhals" for price comparison (https://geizhals.at/). The budget is around 1300 euros just for the tower.
He will be using the pc for everyday homeoffice things as well as casual gaming. Nothing too extreme is needed in terms of graphics performance etc. Having that said, we thought a 32'' monitor in 1440p @75Hz would nice and we found this one which seems pretty neat:
MONITOR: AOC Q3279VWFD8, 31.5" € 197,00 (this has its own separate budget)
For the tower I have so far:
CASE: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX € 99,99
SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB € 70,90
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda Compute 2TB € 53,40
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-18-18-36 € 66,20
Summing to a total of 290 € for these essentials, which leaves around 1000 euro for the cpu, gpu, psu and mobo (hope I'm not forgetting something).
I'd appreciate any tips or advice; I'm just starting to look into the current meta for chipsets etc. One thing which would be nice (not a requirement though) is a WiFi receiver on the motherboard.
Cheers
philipp
