New PC Build and there is no Display output.

Hi Guys

So basically I just build my new pc and everything is connected properly.. I double checked and reconnected everything again yet there is no output on the monitor.

The monitor which I have is Samsung s22d300ny 21.5 inch VGA monitor.

Graphics card - sapphire Radeon r9 270 2gb dual-x.

I am unable to check the display output from the motherboard as there is non. Also the monitor is perfectly fine as I can connect my other laptop and use at as a screen.

The graphics card has no VGA outputs but has two DVI and one HDMI. There is one DVI-D and one DVI-I port. I received the DVI-I to VGA adapter along side my graphics card. And I tried using it but yet there is no out put.

Is the adapter faulty or am I doing something wrong?

Spent ages trying to fix this issue but i have no idea.. the monitor doesn't display anything but the CPU turns on perfectly and all of the fans/ LED lights are working fine also the dual x fans on graphics card are also running. Lastly there were also no beeps from the system.

try clearing the cmos as have found that to work sometimes to kickstart a stubborn system. did you connect the power cables from the psu to the videocard? disconnect all cards, ram & drives from motherboard but reseat the videocard & 1 stick of ram. remove all ram to see if get error beep for missing ram.

Hi sorry for the late reply but I have tried all of the things above and surprisingly there were no beeps... Also I was able to test the system on a different monitor but nothing came up so the problem is still there. And yes the graphics card had the power connection.

Moreover while I was testing on a different Monitor I was also able to test using the HDMI output and also the issue is still there.. Which indicates that the DVI-I to VGA adapter is not faulty.. also I am only using one 8 gb RAM module 1866Mhz. I have tried using it on all ports as well but the problem is still there. Also my Mother board is Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 which is able to handle ram size up to 2133.
