Hey peeps,
So I am gonna be building a new PC from scratch for the sole purpose of Gaming and Streaming. I have been researching on all the components I want for the build and have finally come up with a complete list.
Since all the components listed below will be working under one roof, I require some expert opinions on there compatibility with each other and also if the PC all together would give me a good gaming experience. 😃

Hi Shaikh Sufyan.

That MSI B460 Tomahawk motherboard is an Intel motherboard. For the Ryzen 3700X you will need a B450/X570/B550 board. Like a B450 Tomahawk MAX or a X570 Aorus Elite or a B550 Tomahawk.

Don't buy only 1 stick of 8GB of RAM. Get a 2x8GB 3200MHz/3600MHz CL16 RAM Kit.

If you're going for a RTX 3080 you will need a good Power Supply. That PSU is a :
Tier D • Recommended only for very cheap, iGPU systems
"Antec | Atom - Basiq 80 Plus / VP Plus / VP-P (Plus) / VP-PC / VP-F 80+ - Earthwatts [EA] Gold Pro Chinese versions / Platinum / 80+ / Green - Neo Eco Classic NE-C (X50W/X20W) / Modular NE-M - NX"

First thing - that motherboard won't work with that CPU - B460 is Intel chipset (AMD options are either B450 or the newer B550 - which is what I would recommend going with for a 3700X + RTX 3080 as it has better CPU support and PCIe Gen 4.0 for the graphics card).

Storage wise, forget the HDD - they are slow and solid state drives are pretty cheap these days. For gaming you want your games stored on an SSD for both load times and smoother performance in game (many large games these days stream in data from the drive on the fly - which can result in stutters and pop-in of textures and objects if the drive isn't fast enough).

In terms of SSD you want to go with an M2 NVME drive for best performance.

1)AMD cpu isn't compatible with an Intel motherboard. The model numbers may be a little confusing.
Here are some examples among more recent models:
AMD boards: A320, B450, X470, B550, X570
Intel boards: B460, H410, H470, Z490

2)Dual channel only. Never do single channel if you're looking to play games.
8GBs is also a tad small for your use case too.

3)Antec VP700P Plus with a 3080?
Ahem! Lets take that 3080 idea, toss it out the window, and replace it with a 1660 Super.
Keep the 3080 on your list if you pair it with something much better than that cheapo VP psu. Pick something better than that: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/psu-tier-list-psucultists.3624094/
