[SOLVED] New PC build crashes after 2 minutes

I recently purchased new hardware so I can upgrade my PC.

Motherboard is Asus B450-F
CPU is Ryzen 7 3700x
Mem is Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200mhz (2x8)
GPU is Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti
I am using a Samsung 970 Evo Nvme SSD

I can boot the pc into windows but after anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes even doing nothing, it crashes, sometimes with a blue screen error but no specific error code.

Which bios version is on it?

Windows is installed freshly with this new hardware?

run the RAM @2133MHz

Very low quality PSU. You'd probably be fine with this in an office system, but this is an inappropriate PSU for the components used.

Whether or not it's causing this problem, it's extremely challenging to diagnose such as this until the junk PSU has been ruled out.

I dont think its the PSU, I already upgraded it and no change in crashes.

What did you upgrade it to? Is there other information you have not provided?

No the upgrade is the one i listed (thermaltake smart 700) the previous one was corsair cx 550m

Your old one was significantly better than your "upgrade" is.

What is the error code you're getting? Did you properly run a fresh install of Windows? Are you getting into Windows before it crashes?

I am getting into windows before it crashes. I did properly install windows fresh. It is not giving me an error code, it either just freezes or gives me a blue screen error but no specific code.

Have you tried running a single stick of RAM?

Yes and I have also tested the ram with memcheck and came back 5 passes 0 errors.

So I guess I got it figured out. My PC is booting up just fine on my old hard drive. I guess something is wrong with the nvme ssd.
