At 1080P it will handle those games on Low-Med settings but you should get a cheaper CPU, dump the aftermarket cooler & get a much better GPU.

This would game better for cheaper and since your budget allows it I put in a good aftermarket cooler that is much quieter then the stock fan. Also put in a much faster NVMe SSD & better quality PSU.

Wait 4 days for the release of the new ryzen cpu. Ryzen 5 3600 will be a bit better in single core performance than 2700x at 200$. And give the money you will save from the cpu for a better gpu.

It's in Canada, pricing is significantly more expensive then the US.

It's not the CPU that is concerning, it's the budget GPU,
