Hello, I have recently built a new system using the following components:
i5 6500 Skylake (used stock cooler).
AMD RX 480 Gaming X
8GB DDR4 Corsair ValueSelect ram
550W EVGA Supernova GS
1TB WD Blue HDD
120GB sandisk ssd
MSI B150m Bazooka Mobo
NZXT S340 Black/Blue

I had no issues within the first two days of use with the pc and the build went smoothly other than one slightly loose mobo standoff. The problems began when I encountered a BSOD while downloading a steam game and watching youtube reading the error message: IRQL Not Less or Equal. The PC restarted on its own and ran fine for a couple of minutes. Another blue screen appeared with the message: page fault in non-paged area. I did a small amount of research and several posts pointed towards RAM problems so I ran a windows memory diagnostic test which froze at 72%. I understand many of these tests tend to get stuck at points for long periods of time but I found the test was unresponsive- the options would not open and the test would not exit with the escape key. I manually restarted the pc and encountered another Blue screen reading apc index mismatch. Then some automatic restarts and several more blue screens for which I unfortuanately did not note the error messages. The pc froze on one blue screen forcing me to manually restart. The pc then booted onto a blank black screen with a white underscore in the top left. After waiting I manually restarted once again and the pc would not connect to the monitor. The next day I tried disconnecting the gpu and manually resetting the bios using a jumper on the CMOS header. This caused the motherboard to no longer display the red led indicator showing the gpu was not connected however the cpu fan did power on. The pc however still does not connect to the monitor.
It might be worth mentioning that the red led on the mobo indicating faulty ram flashed on for a second when powering up the pc. Also I have fully tested voltages on the power supply and they all seem to be equal to what is shown in the manual.

Currently I believe the problem is either a faulty ram stick (which I cannot test as I have no other ddr4 sticks) or a dead motherboard

I would really appreciate any advice or help and sorry for the very long post :).

Thanks very much for the reply, I've managed to boot the system after re-assembling a couple of times. Just run the Windows Memory diagnostic tool and found no errors, still worried it will fail again. Are there any other tests I can run or would this prove the RAM is ok or otherwise?
