Im putting together a PC that i want to last a good while before needing another upgrade.

Looking for feedback & recommended changes that could improve the build or even save money.

Chose that motherboard as i plan to look at water cooling in the future.

What i am looking at so far:

GPU - ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 AMP Extreme INFINTY
CPU - AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 16 Core, 32 Threads, 4.3GHz, 5.7GHz Turbo
MOBO - ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO
RAM - G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 96GB (2x48GB) 6400MT/s CL32-39-39-102
PSU - 1000W be quiet! Power Zone 2, Black, Fully Modular, 80PLUS Platinum, Single Rail, 83.3A +12V, 140mm Fan, ATX 3.1

What I already have:

M.2 - Samsung 980 PRO

You might want to look into ram kits that have AMD's E.X.P.O advertised on the package. You could do away with the X870E chipset motherboard in favor of a B850 chipset board.

Motherboard really doesn't care if you use water cooling or not, unless you use a board that has built in water blocks, which that one doesn't appear to have. This board is still x870e, and far less expensive. I would use some of that savings towards a beefier PSU.
