Hello, I am looking for help to build a new PC where I could mostly game in 1080p but also be able to do rendering of pictures but gaming is more important in this case. The budget is around 1000 euros and maybe a bit more. I do not need a monitor, OS or anything besides the PC

Preferences: It has to be Intel CPU and NVIDIA graphic cards, it has to support all the newer games with at least 60 fps at medium/high settings and has to be Windows 7 friendly but be able to use Windows 10.

Popular websites like NewEgg, Amazon or similar would be nice for determining prices since I will most likely be buying from these.

I could really use some help because I've never built a full PC without a help of an expert. Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure how CPU intensive your item is, opting the next CPU will be the 8700 plus a afterfan, which is 200 eruo extra.

I don't think is a good idea to run 1060 6gb for gaming application /CUDA at this points, since the card is 2 years old, you may only get support for NV for like another 2-3 years. where as the 2060 is more recent, and you expect NVidia to continue provide driver support for 4 years + (2 generations)

Thank you for your answer but is this CPU good enough or if there could be an upgrade (100 euros more or less).

The one after will be i7 8700. You don’t get much speed upgrade running more expensive i5. It’s 150 more. But the stock cooler it come with is horrible and will thermal throttle your 8700. Hence you would need another aftermarket cooler for it.

Thank you for your answers, I have concidered them and probably will be getting something very similar.
