Greetings,

I am having trouble with this custom PC. I have put together a couple of PCs in the past (for my parents) and upgraded parts within my current PC the last couple of years. Now I am building from scratch and I am having a problem (unlike with the PCs I have dealt with in the past).

So no video appears to happen, but everything inside turns on (aka the case fans, the power supply fan, and the CPU fan). I have already sent back the CPU and motherboard for replacements, but the problem is still happening. The only thing left (I think) I could send back for replacements is the memory(?).

CPU
AMD RYZEN 7 2700X 8-Core 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W YD270XBGAFBOX Desktop Processor

Video Card
Not installed yet (But I do have one really to add)

Motherboard
ASRock Fatal1ty B450 GAMING K4 AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Memory
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2933 (PC4 23400) Desktop Memory Model CMK16GX4M2Z2933C16

Storage - Main
SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2 2280 250GB PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.3 V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V7S250B/AM

Storage - Secondary
SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series 2.5" 250GB SATA III V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-76E250B/AM

PC Case Fans
(x6) Rosewill RFA-120-K - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan with LP4 Adapter - Sleeve Bearing, Silent

Power Supply
Rosewill Hive Series 550W Modular Gaming Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze Certified, Single +12V Rail, Intel 4th Gen CPU Ready, SLI & CrossFire Ready - Hive-550

EDIT: As I was making this list of parts, I noticed that my power supply mentions "Intel 4th Gen CPU Ready" does that matter with the AMD CPU that I use?

You're working with a Ryzen processor(not an APU) which means you're going to need a discrete GPU for your build to get any display.

Oh really? This is the first AMD CPU I have used. I will install my GPU and test.

Btw, should this be fine?.....
