hey guys im looking for a good 1000w psu.
CPU: AMD FX-9370 with water cooler that comes with it not sure what brand it is
Case: Raidmax agusta
Mobo: Asus crosshair V formula-Z
Ram : Kingston beast 2400mhz. 16gb (4x4)
GPU: crossfire r9-280x or r9-290 or r9-290x (gonna wait for non-reference versions to come out(
HDD: 1tb caviar black might get an SSD
PSU : Rosewill 1000w RBR1000-M

I already have the CPU the HDD and the Case.
Also which motherboard should i get the crosshair V formula-Z or the Sabertooth 990fx r2.0
also my budget for the PSU is 150 maybe a little more

Thanks for reading and have a great day

Sorry thought you were waiting to see the new non-ref 290X's, I'm waiting also, have a 280X which is a great card but am looking forward to see what happens when the new nVidia Maxwell comes out and what it will do to prices, at the moment I'm leaning to go back to nVidia and either the 780 or the 780TI (Asus, love the CU cooling)...unless Maxwell does get released then have to see what happens

I'm waiting for the non ref 290 and 290x to Come Out and Waiting For Prices to Go Back To Normal. I haven't looked in to maxwell I'm not too sure what that is ill have to research it
Also what do you think about my processor choice people told me I should of got an 8350 for 200. But I got the 9370 and the water cooler for 220.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of it, the 8350 is as good and possibly better for less - the 9370 was somewhat of a grandstand play by AMD, it's basically a juiced up 8350 (220W), with that extra voltage it basically needs the LC where the 8350 can OC as well on air

Here's the thing the 8350 was 200 plus 10 shipping and the 9370 was 220 free shipping with the watercooler so I decided to just go for that

Agreed when they first came out they were like 1000 like I'd rather get an extreme edition for that much. Btw is 16 gigs overkill for gaming and video editing or will 8 gigs be enough 2400mhz speed btw

8 GB is good for gaming (though 16 is better in my opinion) DDR3 prices continue to climb and not expecting any drops coming, especially with the makers gearing up for DDR4, BF4 suggests having 8GB and that's likely to be the upcoming pattern - games and apps using more and more DRAM, and with you doing Video editing - DRAM always comes in handy for that, so yes, if in the budget, I'd go 16GB

Yea that's what I thought and ddr4 never heard of that before when do you think that'll be out maybe 2nd or 3rd quarter 2014.
Also someone told me about a gtx titan 2.0 not out for general public yet you think it's true? I trust him so if that's true that's probably coming out a bit after maxwell

Ahh, others have heard, yes there's suppose to be a Titan Black Edition that's been in the works for quite some time...I have mixed feeling on it, and have been trying to get more info, but the few I know are keeping closed mouthed on it. Still hoping Maxwell gets dropped in Jan, but that may be up in the air also, in part will depend on whether AMD makes a move, their R7 and R9s haven't really hit nVidia super hard.

DDR4 is another interesting thing and a lot will play in, with no new CPUs due out soon, might see sometry hybrid mobos to run DDR4 with current Haswells, but they will need a chipset on the mobo to work with the CPU's MC (memory controller) to run the DRAM as Haswell is designed for DDR3, or actually put a MC on the mobo and have it basically ignore the CPU's MC...might see something out of Intel but doubt AMD will jump in the game

Yea I'm really excited for this new tech. Can't wait to see how it is. Also I have a 520 dollar budget for a motherboard ram and a power supply any suggestions?
