I am starting a new PC build and would welcome anyone’s suggestions or ideas on it. I’m currently playing on a 3440x1440 monitor which I will keep. This will be my gaming / streaming PC so I want to make sure it’s going to be able to do it all without issues.

Looking to keep this cooled as much as possible but would also like a pretty open case for display purposes. Love the RGB lighting and openness of a case.

GPU I selected look like it already had a water cooler on it as I feel it will be quieter and cooler than a normal stock fan (I could be wrong).

Again, I am welcome to suggestions and ideas from anyone. Right now I’m capping myself off at $5,000 for this build. Might stretch to $6,000 if it makes sense for the build.

Just more RGB lighting
You want to use two sticks of RAM with these Intel boards so you don't stress the memory controller. 2x16GB is more than plenty. If you decide on the unlocked 13900K then you want a 420 AIO and a board with decent VRM's that can handle that cpu as to avoid thermal throttling

These boards for example.

Personally I wouldn't recommend an i9 for gaming seeing how those cpu's are heat producing power hogs.

Tough to beat this cpu down below for a high end gaming build.

Intel Core i7-13700 $409.99

Processor Base Power: 65W
Maximum Turbo Power: 219W

If you plan on using a single M.2 SSD such as the one you have in your build than pair that i7 up with this board.

If you plan on using dual M.2 SSD's then something like this.

Wouldn’t the i9 be a better choice for streaming and gaming at the same time? Or can the i7 handle that without issues?

Personally this is what I would do with your budget. AIO for the 4090 is not worth the 350 dollar premium over the air cooled version. The case I added will allow you to add the water cooled version of the 4090 if it pleases you. The AIO I chose will run cooler and much quieter. I added a 980 over a 990 as there is very little difference and it saves 100 dollars. I added a 4tb storage drive, remove it if you do not need it. The case you chose looks pretty but will choke your parts of fresh air. The Lian Li Lancool III will cool it better and looks just as good in my opinion. I also added in a blingier, and better motherboard. The 13900k is a waste unless you need the extra multicore performance over the 13700k and will save you nearly 200 dollars. The 13700k vs the 13900k will be indistinguishable for your use cases:

I have made a few changes after everyone’s suggestions. Looking for feedback and help with a good motherboard for this build.

I would like to stick with the 4090, so if there is a better card out there for airflow or performance than what I have picked. Please share.

Changed the RAM to just 2 sticks of 32GB. Might be overkill, just sounds better to me.

The CPU cooler I have seemed like a good with with good RGB lighting as I am trying to get as much RBG lighting in this build as I can to really make it pop. Any suggestions on adding LED lights or anything would be welcomed and appreciated. I don’t want to pick hardware just based off of RGB lighting. I’d like it to perform as well. So if something else is out there and better without RGB lighting. I will take it.

You're missing a motherboard.

That large of a budget and a dead end platform? Why?

Nothing out of line that I see.

I might make a couple of changes based on the premise that it might lead to fewer issues over the long run.

But they might not. No one can know. All parts have risk.

I'm guessing performance and aesthetics are driving your choices more than any other factor.

Such as what? I never turn away ideas or opinions?

Anything I could say could easily be dismissed as nit-picking and speculative and anecdotal.

As I said, nothing out of line in your choices. Not what I'd choose at your budget, but so what? Twenty people will give you twenty plausible configurations.

You have to satisfy yourself and my choices could just as easily result in problems. Speculation.

At some point, you have to pull a trigger. Not sure of the advantage of a 14th opinion over a 13th or 50 hours of hand-wringing over 45.

Enjoy it. Very strong machine.
