Hi guys I'm building a new gaming PC for a friend his budget is $2700 I'm in Australia so the prices must obviously be from Aussie sellers.
This is the build Ive come up with what do you think ?

CPU: $295 - Intel i5 6500 $295
Mobo: $219 - Asus b150 pro gaming/Aura
Graphics card: $739 - Asus gtx 980 strix
RAM: $169 - G.skill Ripjaws V 2x8gb 2400MHz ddr4
PSU: $159 - Corsair cs750m 750 watt
SSD: $139 - Samsung 850 EVO M.2 250GB SSD
HDD: $105 - Seagate ST2000DM001 2TB Barracuda
OS: $130 - windows 8 (going straight to 10)
Case: $199 - Thermaltake Core V51 Riing Edition Mid-Tower
Monitor: $259 - LG 25UM57-P 25" Ultrawide IPS LED Gaming Monitor
Keyboard: $99 - ROCCAT Ryos MK Pro
Plus 2 extra fans $40

So that's the build i found with the most bang for his buck's
It's most just a gaming rig that will be used for uni as well
thank you in advanced for your help

750W is unnecessary, and having too much extra watts is not good, since it leads to inefficiency. That 650W from EVGA is good enough.

And you have picked non overclockable CPU. If you want to overclock your cpu, you should pick i5 6600k. Also, aftermarket CPU cooler would be a good idea (if overclocking), like (budget option) hyper evo 212.

What do you think of this?

Got you a 6600K and a 980ti, Never thought it was gonna fit :L

So you decided to upgrade to 980 ti from 980? And you don't need to buy the overclockable edition. If you are going to OC, then go for it, if not then stay with the 6500. And that seems to be unmodular PSU, meaning that you can't take off excess cables.

Nothing like a little tuck-and-fold won't fix haha.

Though I suppose you can invest a little bit more on a modular one, This should be good.

Whoops I considered you to be the OP, lol. But yeah, it fits in the budget.
