I'm building a new machine for gaming and regular use. I haven't yet decided on whether I should go with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 (I've never used 8 before). I also have no idea on what I should do for a monitor. Aside from that, here is my build.

Corsair Air 540 ATX Desktop Case
Asus Maximus VI Formula ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (Also will take a look at the Maximus VII when that comes out shortly).
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II Video Card
Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
SeaSonic 660W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
I don't feel the need for an internal storage drive as I don't do much downloading, and that is what USB 3 and eSATA are for.
As for cooling I plan on getting the Noctua NH-D15 for the cpu, three Noctua NF-S12A PWM fans for the front intake and three NF-A14 PWM fans, one for the rear and two for top exhaust. I will also be ordering the full set of dust filters from DEMCiflex.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Random musings?
