I just finished putting together a new pc for multiple games and multiboxing, just wondering if the specs look ok to those more knowledgeable than me. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Sorry first time posting and wasn't quite sure exactly what to include.
 
After combining everything I have on that site I am seeing an incompatibility issue between my CPU and memory. It is all plugged in and working well together at the moment, is this something I should worry about/correct?

Well, the memory you chose runs at 1.65V, which technically voids the warranty of the RAM. Generally, with any i5, you want RAM that runs at 1.5V. The memory controller is only able to handle 1.5V.

You might have some luck undervolting the RAM, but I wouldn't worry about it.

How long ago did you build this build? You should make a post before you buy stuff, so then we can review it. This build by the parts you have seems to be about a year old.

Pretty sure overclocking voids the warranty anyway.
 
I've had the motherboard & cpu for about a year, Just added the GPU, RAM and SSD's about 2 weeks ago as well as the new tower. I got the RAM on sale for $22 per 8gig set so I'm not terribly worried about the warranty. Was planning on replacing the MOBO and CPU over the next few months and rebuilding the current bundle into a "new" old pc since the win 7 is OEM. I'll definitely ask for advice before I pick up the next batch of goodies.
 
You definitely won't need a new CPU anytime soon. The 2500K is still in the top spots of its class, and you will not benefit from upgrading.

Are you not seeing optimal performance in games? My 2500K hasn't quit in any game I have played on it now that I added my 2 570's.

The time to post your question is BEFORE you buy, not after.
That way, you can avoid problems and be directed to better values.

Since everything is working, I would not worry too much.
Check the ram or motherboard web site to verify that your ram is compatible.
If you have a problem, you will then get support.

Since your purpose seems to be gaming, I would look to a graphics card update before cpu.
I think your 2500K is a 3-4 year chip for gaming. No real need to upgrade to ivy bridge or haswell.

I would do that by replacing the GTX560ti with a stronger graphics card.
I would avoid sli . with slower cards in sli, you will benchmark well, but may be susceptible to microstuttering.

No apologies needed brother, I should have realized that was way too much information with far too few specifics. Everything appears to be working very well at the moment, been monitoring temps and performance with 3 copies of a game running at once and will be trying more here within the next couple weeks. Most of the info I have read on SLI and Crossfire has turned up exactly what you are saying, 15-30% more capability for using 2 of the same cards hardly seems worth it. I will most likely look for a better gpu after christmas when everything reduced drastically in price. what would be your advice for a new card that can run at least 6 games/copies at a time with no fps or lag issues?
 
So long as you are running your games directed to just one monitor, I don't think the graphics load will be cumulative.

I don't what you are doing, running multiple games at once, I have a hard enough time with one.

Do not expect any drastic, or even moderate price cuts after Christmas. Since the next gen of cards will not appear until spring, there will be no discounting until then.

If you are gaming on a single monitor, I think a GTX670 class card is the common choice. Paying a lot more for a GTX680 does not seem to be worth it if $70-$100 is important to you.
 
I'm using a bot to collect things for me with 2 accounts on 1 monitor and I play my main account on the 32" tv. I have 2 other monitors that I would like to be able to have in play as well but at the moment my card only handles 2 outputs. With my last build I was running at around 45-60 fps on "fair" settings, with the new setup I was running 1 account in high a high traffic area at 215fps on "ultra". The 2nd and 3rd I set at "good" and throttled the fps down to 30-40 just to avoid any hiccups and heat. so far I have yet to throw anything at it that it can't handle but I would like at least 1 more monitor for poker/browsing while the other 2 are running games. This is my first time posting in a forum so I apologize for my vagueness/redundancy/lack of pertinent information. Thank you all for the time your taking to assist me, I will attempt to be more precise in future posts.
 
So I don't understand, you want 3 instances of a game running? And 4 monitors?

You are probably going to need a new card, or another 560Ti for that job.

Also, geofelt, I think he just bought the 560Ti.
 


Just add another inexpensive graphics card and you can attach two more monitors to it.
Windows 7 has no problem with multiple graphics cards.

It will use the same copy of your GTX560ti and take very little power.
 
I have extra video cards laying around but I only have 1 PCIe slot on my mobo, thats the main reason I was going to get a new bundle. From what I am reading here though it seems I might be better of just getting the new board and swapping my current cpu. I guess the question now becomes which board would be best suited for my current hardware with the ability to greatly increase it as funds become available and necessity arises.
 


If this is your MSI P67A-G45 motherboard, it has two pcie x16 slots?

If you buy a Z77 based motherboard, you could use the integrated graphics to drive two extra monitors and not need a separate graphics card.
There has been dome discussion if you can use both integrated graphics as well as a discrete graphics card.
I think you can, but it might be dependent on the particular motherboard bios.
