Just got done building my first PC. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in properly, and then checked again to be sure. Everything looked good.

I go to turn it on for the first time and the mobo lights up along with the cpu cooler and gpu. The fans spin as well. However nothing beeped at all and my monitor says it has no hdmi signal.

So i shut everything down and try to evaluate what’s wrong. I checked to make sure the ram was seated properly. And as far as i can tell it was. My graphics card was warm to the touch so I unplugged the power connectors and removed it from the motherboard.

After i set that aside I tried pluggging my hdmi cable into my motherboard, but the same problem occurred. I have tried multiple hdmi cables and I’m not quite sure what else i could do.

Unless you connected a speaker, no beep is not unusual. Most cases don't have a motherboard speaker to connect. To get the motherboard video to work, you should remove the graphics card. By default the motherboard video is disabled when a video card is installed.

I removed my graphics card and still have the same issue

Go over your connections again, make sure you have the CPU power connector attached to the motherboard as well as the 24 pin connector. Check your RAM is installed properly. If nothing changes try removing the RAM one stick at a time, and disconnect any hard drives etc until you at least get to the BIOS stage.

If the motherboard came with a little piezo speaker or the case has a speaker make sure it's connected so you can hear the beep(s) as that will help you figure out what's going on. No beeps at all means it's not even starting to POST.

Ok it was a problem with the ram. Apparently I had my cpu cooler screws to tight and it was causing the ram to not be read properly. Thanks anyways
