Building a new pc for my aunt, ran into a couple issues. got it all together and the pc still wont post, or beep. (all fans working and LED)
Hardware
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970a-ds3p
Ram: Kingston 2x8gb 1333mhz
Processor: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz 95W am3+
Graphics Card: MSI Radeon R7 250 DirectX 12
PSU: CORSAIR CX series CX550 550W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE
What i've tried:
Checking all cables, everything is plugged in properly.
booting with one stick of ram, tried multiple spots.
taking battery out, resetting cmos.
took motherboard outside of case started troubleshooting,
Booted with cpu in, no ram (continuous beeps.)
Booted with cpu&ram without the graphics card (no beeps.)
then i tried to Boot with only ram no cpu/gpu (no beeps.)
tried some spare parts thought maybe a hardware issue. Tried to boot using a quad core amd
and a gigabyte gtx 660 2gb. still no beeps no post.
What else can i try to get it to post? Is there a possibility of a DoA MOBO?
