Hi all,
New user here, I have just put together my first new PC build and it's not registering a display.
My build:
Case - Xigmatek LUX G Tempered Glass Mid Tower
Motherboard - Maxsun Challenger H510M-H
CPU - Intel Core i5-10400F
CPU FAN - Xigmatek Air Killer S RGB CPU Cooler
Ram - 16GB Netac Shadow II Dual RAM Kit
SSD - 1TB Netac NV3000 SSD
HDD - 1TD Seagate (old harddrive from previous PC)
GPU - Radeon HD 5450(old GPU from previous PC)
PSU - 650W Xigmatek Minotaur PSU
I am using my old GPU before I upgrade to the 4060-ti.
When I turn it on all the PC fans and LEDs turn on, the CPU fan turns on, the HDD can be heard whirring away and the GPU fan is working, I plug into the GPU via HDMI, no display detected. I try the VGA, no display detected. I have put old GPU back into old PC without HDD and boots into bios fine. Put GPU back into new PC, took put 1 Ram, no display detected, tried other same result, checked all cables connected and Ram/GPU pushed in far and clipped. I used anti static wrist when putting together. I have plugged the PSU 24 pin into the mobo but nothing into the 4pin 12v slot on the mobo as not cable/slot on the PSU. Nothing seems to be able to detect a display input. Hoping someone can help as I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what it could be, possibly Im thinking incompatible ram or bios cant detect old GPU? Cheers.
