Hey, i've recently bought new computer and it's not really working, when i try to boot it up it spins the fans and lights the case but nothing comes out from I/O (HDMI cable and USB ports, just overall nothing else works than fans). If someone could please find out what's wrong i'd be glad.
My build:
Processor: Intel Core i5-7600 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117729&cm_re=intel_i5_7600-_-19-117-729-_-Product
PSU : Corsair VS450
RAM : HyperX https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104711&cm_re=hyperx_16gb_ddr3-_-20-104-711-_-Product
Motherboard : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA85V5221414&cm_re=b150_gigabyte-_-9SIA85V5221414-_-Product
Case : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811235062&cm_re=zalman_z1_neo-_-11-235-062-_-Product

Note : Ram, drives and GPU are from my old PC (thats why i have DDR3)

Thanks for your answers

Solution

Ok glad you didn't break anything.

Your brother's processor isn't going to work. You need a Skylake processor like an i3-6100, or...
2 things:

1. That link says that mobo can only use DDR4. I don't think DDR3 can physically fit in a DDR4 slot, so I don't know how you go it in there.

2. That mobo was originally for skylake. Kabylake works for it, but after a BIOS update. This means the mobo needs to come with the BIOS update or you need to update it by first installing a skylake CPU OR hopefully it has a feature where it can install a new bios from a USB flash drive. (Unlikely, since it's a low-featured motherboard)

+1 on this. If you put that Ram in somehow you probably broke the board.

And secondly even if the Ram was compatible it would never work, you need a B250 motherboard or the motherboard needs a BIOS update before it will work with that CPU.

Thanks for the answer, and for that link i am sorry, it is wrong link.

This is the mobo i've got : https://www.alza.cz/EN/gigabyte-b150m-hd3-ddr3-d2919736.htm (i have huge mess in gigabyte motherboards)

I'm kinda new to this so sorry for silly questions but how am i supposed to get the newer bios version when i can't see anything? Do you think that drivers might contain the update or is the USB option going to work? The only outcome from this situation i see is borrowing my brother's i5 4460 processor and download it with it (which sounds little bit barbaric)

Again, thanks alot for your answers.

Ok glad you didn't break anything.

Your brother's processor isn't going to work. You need a Skylake processor like an i3-6100, or Pentium G4400 to do the BIOS update. There is no way around this.

As per Gigabyte website you need BIOS version F20a

Maybe try a local computer shop see if they can do it for you. Otherwise you may want to return your CPU if possible and buy an i5-6500

Solution
You are reading my mind. I've just ordered i5 6500.

I will return the i5 7600.

I can't help you enough for the questions, as an IT student i was so desperate to find out what's wrong with hardware and it was software.

Thanks.
