Hello,

Im getting ready to upgrade my pc with a new mobo and cpu. I know that i cant use the old hardrive with my OS on the new pc. But i do have a seperate ssd hardrive that has all my steam games. I dont want to redownload my games again due to poor interent where i live. So I was wondering how i go about using that ssd on the new pc build and not lose all my games?

In teh new system, install the OS on the drive. With only that drive connected.
Once it is all up and running, and you've installed the Steam client, connect the drive containing your games.

Then, in the Steam client, tell it where those games are. Like this:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add...
