New PC build playing music quiet

On my old PC i used these headphones and music seemed alot louder, now ive built a new one the music seems alot quieter.

Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Socket 1155 VGA DVI HDMI 8 Channel Audio mATX Motherboard

I downloaded the audio driver from the gigabyte website but it still seems alot quieter, any suggestions?

easy. turn up the volume. if you are at max volume and still find it quiet, you probably want to consider hearing devices.

if you want better sound, you can get a sound card as well

Are you sure you put headphones contact in right slot in rear panel? There's alot of them, maybe you mixed up. Usually it's green one.
Also, try installing latest sound drivers that correspond with your sound card model. As stated here http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4150#sp, you need Realtek ALC887 codec drivers.
