Just built a new PC and noticed that my network speeds are pretty slow, considering my old one was getting way faster speeds.
Specs:
ASUS ROG Strix Z390-I
i7-8700K
16gb Corsair LPX RAM
GTX 1080 FTW
ISP - Google Fiber
I noticed downloads were going slow, but was blaming Blizzard for that. Then I did a speedtest. 20mbps down/2 up... Previously I would get up to 950 down... consistently in the 750+ range.
I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the LAN drivers for the mobo, but that did nothing. I tried WiFi, got the same speeds. I tested my phone and it got 200+down/up, along with the GF's phone. Tried the Windows troubleshooter and it didn't find anything. Tried disabling IPv6, nada.
Any ideas? :|
Edit: Figured it out. It was Asus GameFirst V software.
