Question New PC build turning on and off ?

just updated my cpu to a ryzen 7 3800x and installed everything into a new case. the build will turn on for about 20 seconds and then shut off briefly before turning on again without getting any information on the monitor. i checked all wiring, tried my previous cpu and even ran the motherboard and cpu outside the case with the same results. any suggestions would be helpful at this point, also all components were working the other day.

What motherboard and PSU do you have?

Did you make sure that :

- The CPU slot is clean.

- All power cables are connected properly (some motherboards might have additional power connector for the CPU).

i’m using the same asrock AB350m and corsair cx750m from my old build. both are supported for both cpus and i’ve inspected the cpu socket multiple times, didn’t see anything unusual. at this point i’m thinking it might be a motherboard issue? however i only had it out of the case for 10min while swapping it, not sure what could have gone wrong there. also i used all the same power cables i had connected to the motherboard previously
