Hi all. I am new here as well as a new builder and I'm looking for some help that my buddies who have built many PC's can't seem to find a solution for.

I have just completed a new build; however, it will not boot...at all. Dark screen. My motherboard seems to get power because the RGB in top left turns on, but the 4 error LED's in top right do not turn on. Graphics card and CPU cooler seem to get power, but CPU cooler has red triangle with exclamation mark on LCD screen. I know that error is for a connection issue, but I have tried literally everything.

All of the fans including RGB on those do not turn on. Yes, I have triple checked all connections and nothing at all appears to be damaged. Im leaning towards this being a CPU cooler issue as the mobo might be failing to boot as a failsafe? The CPU cooler has had issues for other users as the module needs to be updated but that shouldn't cause the booting issue.

Looking for help here before I throw more money into it as it may be something stupid that I didn't do or may have not known.

did you remove the plastic foil from the cooler block?

did you connect the fan of the cooler to CPU_fan header correctly? 3/4pin header can sometimes be tricky
Yes, and yes. The fan headers can be tricky on the Asus Mobo's. Sometimes the AIO headers don't like the connection, so I've found (through videos and forums) that most AIO coolers like the fan headers better for the 1 pin connector. The 1-pin connector could also be an issue. I ordered the NZXT Kraken cooler which is a 2-pin, I'm pretty sure, and I hope that fixes the issue. It's just frustrating as a first-time builder, but I'm hoping with trial and error I can figure it out. Ive been told the build is easy, but getting power to it as well as getting it to boot can be the hardest part.
