New pc build with no display

ASROCK 470 Gaming K4 motherboard
Ryzen 7 2700x cpu with stock cooler
corsair 8gb Vengence LPX DDR ram
Corsair VS650 power supply
corsair atx case
HP 120 gb SSD

When I press power, the cpu cooler kicks on and the pc looks like it starts but no output goes to the HDMI output built into the motherboard. When I disconnect everything except the cpu and ram it starts up with no output and stays on error code "0d" on the digital screen built into the motherboard. ASROCK website says this means "Problem related to memory, VGA card or other devices. Please clear CMOS, re-install the memory and VGA card, and remove other USB, PCI devices" I am not sure what this means or how to fix it.

you need to add a graphics controller or GPU. the ryzen CPU does not have a GPU in it, only the Ryzen APU's ending with the G, like the 2400G and the dedicated a12 APU's will have a GPU onboard.

the port on the motherboard has nothing on the CPU to connect with.

Oh, thank you. I have a gpu ordered but I thought I could at least install the operating system before I got the GPU. I didn't realize it wouldn't output with the GPU. Thanks for your help.
