New pc build with ryzen 3 2200g

I have just put together my first build in over 8 years and was just wondering about this bios needing to be updated or not? Also it has all been purchased new from ebuyer

did you already bought the motherboard if not get a 450 one you wont have to update bios to use this cpu .

Already purchased the mobo, reason being this board i can upgrade from ryzen 3 all way up to the newer 7 and add more ram and overclock it all. but as far as starting it will it work? also hope graphics cards go down in price by end of this year.

you will need bios update if the board dont have it you coould get a kit from this link use it and send it back https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/2Gen-Ryzen-AM4-System-Bootup.aspx

But will i need to update it as its new buy? i have a local hardware guy so might be able to borrow an older cpu to just use to update? do you think thats a good idea?

Is there anyway can tell if i need update or not thow? am contacting ebuyer to ask them but people online saying newer boards don't require it. I was sure i had purchased all right parts now feeling bit like "shit" made a bad choice hereee lol

Heres a question i have a pc and pen drive can i not download the bios update to my pen drive then boot from that on new build?

why contact ebuyer since all parts came from other supplier and no you wont be able to do it if you dont have the right cpu in .
